I am an Edmonton artist who was introduced to face painting at a summer market and introduced to bodypainting at the Fringe Festival in Calgary. I was immediately hooked on both! I really enjoy the challenge & creativity that Professional Face and BodyPainting brings; the amount of designs and color combinations are seemingly endless! I have a lot of fun painting!
I love working with children at big or little parties and enjoy seeing their happy faces once their designs are completed. I am also happy to paint adults with designs on their faces, arms, shoulders or ankles.
I use only the best and safest products available for professional face and body painters. They include Wolfe, Diamond FX, Kryolan, Aquacolor, Mehron/Paradise and mica powders. I am an active member of CAFABA: the Canadian Association of Face and Body Artists and am Insured. I am also an active member on a variety of face and body painting Forums.
I am Professionally trained in Face Painting, Body Painting and Pre-natal Bellypainting for expectant mothers who wish to have a handpainted and personal memory of this special time in their life.
I have had the honor of taking several workshops from World Champion Lucie Brouillard, Master Instructors Mark Reid, Pashur, Nick Wolfe and Brian Wolfe, Vargas, Nick Herrera, Rebecca Tonkovich, Jinny, Mart Greenawalt, Dorota Buczel, Jodi Carr and Instructors Cathy Corbett and Sean Avram, and met artists including World Champion Alex Hansen, World Champions Julian & Yolanda Bartram, Wiser, and Natasha Kudashynka.
I have taken a variety of Professional Workshops and Classes at Bodyssey 2009 in Toronto. I also attended the first North American Body Painting Competition in Las Vegas, NV, in Feb. 2009. Most recently, I attended Bodyssey 2010 in Calgary, Alberta. Bodyssey is Canada's Only Face & Body Painting Convention!
I continue to learn and upgrade my skills in order to be the best artist I can be. Photos of two of my BodyPaintings have been published in Illusion Magazine, the premier bodypainting magazine in the world. I have also just had a photo of my BodyPainting appear in the 24th and 25th issues of Brush Strokes Magazine, an online world publication.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you are interested in hiring MissKittyKreations for your next special event.
I am blessed to have adopted three wonderful rescued kitties; Gracie, Mr. Tootles, and Bella Mia. MissKittyKreations became the name of my business because it, well, sounded purrfect!
